Garden - Apples

We have many different apple trees in our garden. Two of them are special though, because they are self-sown. One grew up very close to the trunk of a pine tree. We discovered it one year when apples lay on the ground. Nice surprise.

It is one of the best apples to save for winter - actually the sort that last the longest. The  taste is really good - kind of a mixture between Cox Orange and Ingrid Marie.
