ACSI Camping Card

As it is so cold outside, it was really nice the post came with the ordered Camping Card and books. Then it is possible to dream about nicer weather and upcoming vacations.

This year we have decided to try the ACSI Camping card. It is a discount card that gives discount in the off-season. We travel the most out of season. Partly because it is often too hot in the summer and also because it is less crowded.

We have previously had Camping Key Europe, but since their app never got to work despite inquiry, and since camping sites do not or very seldom ask for it, we have given it up. Instead we will try the ACSI Club ID this year. It cost 37.25 Danish kr, and books, Camping Card and app a total of 140.75 Danish kr.

The Camping Card is exclusively a discount card and allows  staying  for 11 - 13 - 15 - 17 - or 19 euro. Included are pitches, the  stay for two adults, car and tent (or other), electricity max 6 amp and max 4 kWh, 1 hot shower per day per person. This applies to all campsites with the CC logo. These places can be found in the books or in the app.

ACSI Club ID acts as a proof of identity and at the same time has a liability insurance.

We will try it out when the weather gets better and then I'll tell you later how the experience has been.

You can read more on ACSI's website, and  read about the more than 3000 campsites where the discount card is valid.
